Elementary Band
Directed by Mr. Karl Priore and Mrs. Shelley Insko, The Kiski Area Elementary Band is an outstanding performance ensemble that consists of 6th grade students. This group rehearses once a week in the winter and spring. The difficulty of literature performed by this group is Easy (Grade 1). The Elementary Band performs a one concert each year and participates in a PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) sponsored Music Performance Assessment each spring. This ensemble has continuously received Superior ratings at these festivals.
