 Congratulations to the 2014 KAIS 8th Grade Band for the honor of being selected to perform at the Pennsylvania Music Education Association’s 2015 Conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Groups from all over the state submitted applications to perform and the 8th grade band was chosen to present a concert for the state’s music educators at 2:15 PM on Friday, March 27th 2015. The 8th Grade band will have an open rehearsal on Wednesday, March 25th from 6-8 PM. Parents and community members are welcomed to attend the rehearsal in the high school auditorium to hear the ensemble rehearse before departing for their performance. Mr. Traugh and the 8th Grade Band would like to thank Mr. Pityk and Mr. Heiny for their assistance in rehearsals. KAIS Principals Mr. Lohr & Mr. Cardamone as well as the KAIS staff for their continued daily support. Thank you also to Dr. Meighan, Mr. Koter and the district administration. A VERY special thank you to the student’s parents and community for promoting instrumental music as an integral part in a well rounded education.
